This selection is grown 5,500 – 7,000 feet in the prestigious Indian tea region of Darjeeling. The climate is arid and cool allowing the plants to grow slowly. The slow growth drives the development of l-theanine in the leaves, which gives the leaves a rich umami flavor and is said to promote relaxation.
A golden hued liquor presents a bold, fresh aroma. The palate is bright, juicy, and sweet ending with a light floral finish. Top notes of citrus reveal the terroir of the estate in earthy tones, coming together with a resolve of jasmine.
