Nectar of Darjeeling

This first flush Darjeeling tea is grown from AV2 bushes, one of Darjeeling’s most highly revered cultivars, at the Gopaldhara Tea Estate. This premium selection only includes primarily two leaves and a bud. Take a moment out of your day to indulge in this complex, premium selection.

This selection is grown 5,500 – 7,000 feet in the prestigious Indian tea region of Darjeeling. The climate is arid and cool allowing the plants to grow slowly. The slow growth drives the development of l-theanine in the leaves, which gives the leaves a rich umami flavor and is said to promote relaxation. 

A golden hued liquor presents a bold, fresh aroma. The palate is bright, juicy, and sweet ending with a light floral finish. Top notes of citrus reveal the terroir of the estate in earthy tones,  coming together with a resolve of jasmine.
